The Opportunity
The Senior Vice President for Advancement and the University of Memphis Foundation (SVPA) takes the initiative in steering the University’s fundraising efforts. Reporting directly to the President, the SVPA will lead a team overseeing philanthropy, alumni affairs, advancement services, and the UofM Foundation, with a focus on building a transformative campaign effort.
The ideal candidate for this position will be a dynamic leader and community champion, working not only to raise the institution’s profile but also contributing to the welfare of the local community. With responsibilities ranging from providing strategic vision for alumni relations to overseeing major gift prospects and comprehensive campaigns, the SVPA is expected to have a proven track record in leading teams toward substantial fundraising goals.
