The Centers is continuing to expand its reach in response to the region’s most pressing needs. Recent investments include the H.O.P.E. Campus, an integrated community of care for youth and families, and the new Glick Recovery Campus, bringing crisis care, behavioral health, substance use treatment, and primary care resources together under one roof.
The Opportunity
The Centers seeks a strategic and relationship-driven leader to serve as Chief of Institutional Advancement, helping shape the next chapter of the organization’s philanthropic growth and community impact.
The Chief will build on a strong foundation of support while expanding philanthropy, strengthening The Centers’ external presence, and engaging the community more deeply in its vision for a thriving Northeast Ohio. A central priority will be expanding the individual major gifts program while deepening established relationships with foundations, corporations, government partners, and other institutional stakeholders.
As a member of the senior leadership team, the Chief will lead an integrated advancement function encompassing fundraising, marketing and communications, community relations, and external affairs. They will translate The Centers’ diverse programs and ambitious vision into a compelling case for support, creating greater alignment around how the organization tells its story and engages donors, partners, Board members, community leaders, and other constituencies.
The successful candidate will bring direct experience leading individual major gifts fundraising alongside a well-rounded development background. They will be an accomplished relationship builder who can provide strategic leadership to a multifaceted advancement team while collaborating effectively across the organization.
The salary range for this role is $185,000–$210,000.
