The Hill Museum & Manuscript Library (HMML) is one of the world’s leading organizations dedicated to preserving and sharing humanity’s written heritage. Through global partnerships and cutting-edge digital preservation, HMML safeguards manuscripts, archives, and rare books that might otherwise be lost to conflict, political instability, or natural disaster. Since its founding in 1965, HMML has photographed more than 445,000 manuscripts while collaborating with over 800 libraries and cultural institutions across more than 40 countries, creating an unparalleled resource for scholars and future generations.
Following its transition to an independent nonprofit in 2023, HMML is entering an exciting new phase of growth. With an expanded governance structure, renewed strategic priorities, and increasing global relevance, the organization is investing in the philanthropic infrastructure needed to support its ambitious future. This evolution creates an extraordinary opportunity for a fundraising leader to help shape the next chapter of one of the world’s most respected cultural preservation organizations.
