The Opportunity

As Arizona State University Foundation advances the University’s ambitious Changing Futures campaign, it seeks a strategic, people-centered, and collaborative Executive Director of Development to help shape the future of one of higher education’s most dynamic academic enterprises.

Reporting to the ASU Foundation Vice President of Unit Development and working closely with the Senior Vice Provost and Dean of The College, the Executive Director will lead a high-performing team of eight advancement professionals and oversee one of the University’s most successful comprehensive development programs, generating more than $35 million annually in philanthropic support.

The Executive Director will serve as both fundraising leader and strategic advisor, partnering with academic leadership to identify emerging opportunities, shape fundraising priorities, and connect visionary donors with transformative investments across the humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences.

This individual will bring a combination of strategic perspective and operational excellence. As a trusted thought partner to deans, faculty leaders, and development colleagues across ASU, the Executive Director will help translate bold ideas into philanthropic action while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous growth.
