The Opportunity
The Director of Gift Planning role is a compelling opportunity for an experienced charitable gift planning professional to shape the future of philanthropy at Bowling Green State University during a period of exceptional institutional momentum.
As the University embarks on a new seven-year comprehensive campaign following record-breaking fundraising success, this leader will serve as BGSU’s primary expert on planned giving while helping donors create enduring philanthropic legacies that advance the University’s mission for generations to come.
Reporting to the Executive Director of Development, the Director will lead all aspects of gift planning strategy, manage a portfolio of prospects, and secure philanthropic commitments in support of the institution’s priorities. The Director will serve as a trusted internal advisor, helping colleagues navigate sophisticated planned giving vehicles and develop strategies that maximize philanthropic impact across the University.
