Entering its 20th anniversary year, Grace Outreach Bronx partnered with Lindauer to find a visionary Executive Director who will pursue new opportunities to deliver life-changing outcomes for young women in the South Bronx community and beyond.
Following an extensive search in partnership with Lindauer, Grace Outreach Bronx has introduced Robbin Finney-Granston as Executive Director of the organization.
An experienced nonprofit executive leader and educator, Finney-Granston arrives at a significant moment for Grace Outreach. The organization has entered its 20th anniversary year and is seeking to embark on a bold course toward deepening its impact in the South Bronx community.
Grace Outreach serves women 18 and older who are seeking a path to financial security and independence through higher education or improved employment prospects. Founded primarily as a high school equivalency education center in 2004, Grace Outreach has since grown in scope and ambition.
Through its unique hybrid model of in-person classes and individualized support, the organization has helped more than 1,500 women reach their educational goals, access better career opportunities, and achieve professional success and fulfillment.
Finney-Granston brings a wealth of relevant experience to the role of Executive Director, having successfully steered mission-driven organizations through the process of translating a vision into a strategic roadmap for implementation in previous roles.
She joins Grace Outreach from the South Bronx Overall Economic Development Corporation, where she served as Senior Vice President of Economic Development and Community Programs. In this role, Finney-Granston led a comprehensive and multi-faceted nonprofit community development department responsible for a $7 million annual budget. Leading a team and collaborating with external partners, Finney-Granston developed and implemented a variety of projects that catalyzed new and growing business and economic development ventures across the South Bronx community.
Finney-Granston looks forward to building on Grace Outreach’s successes and leading the organization into a new chapter of growth and impact.
