In partnership with Lindauer, the Penn State Alumni Association sought a visionary and relationship-driven CEO to guide one of the nation’s largest and most engaged alumni communities.
Following a national search, Penn State University and the Penn State Alumni Association have announced the placement of Reggie Bustinza in this critical leadership position.
Bustinza brings a remarkable combination of strategic leadership, alumni engagement expertise, operational excellence, and a deep commitment to building meaningful connections between institutions and their communities.
Most recently, he served as Executive Director of Operations and Alumni Engagement for the Northern Illinois University Foundation, where he led a team of 25 and oversaw alumni relations, communications, events, data services, IT, and prospect research.
Lindauer is honored to have partnered with PSU on this search and look forward to seeing the impact of Bustinza’s leadership as he strengthens alumni connections and advances the Association’s mission for Penn Staters around the world.
Reggie Bustinza was appointed in May 2026. The search was led by Lindauer Executive Vice President Faith Montgomery and Senior Consultant Raegan Harvey in partnership with Penn State.
