Walker Therapeutic & Educational Programs partnered with Lindauer in the search for a transformational leader at a pivotal moment for children, youth, and families across Massachusetts.
Lindauer is pleased to join Walker in announcing the appointment of Patrick Tutwiler as President and Chief Executive Officer of the organization.
Tutwiler brings deep and wide-ranging leadership experience across education, child- and family-serving systems, and public service. Most recently, he served as Massachusetts Secretary of Education, where he worked at the intersection of policy, systems change, and community impact. His career reflects a consistent commitment to equity, collaboration, and improving outcomes for young people, with experience spanning state government, K–12 education, and complex, mission-driven organizations.
As President and CEO, Tutiler will lead Walker’s strategic direction, strengthen its operational foundation, and expand the organization’s reach and influence. His background positions him well to guide Walker’s continued growth, elevate its voice in statewide and regional systems, and support the dedicated staff delivering high-quality care every day.
