Boston Children’s Hospital Trust has announced the appointment of Jenny Liu to the position of Vice President of Strategic Giving. A member of the Trust’s Executive Team, Liu will deepen and grow the organization’s work in transformational giving, leveraging and increasing philanthropy for Boston Children’s in order to advance care and research that helps sick children everywhere.
Prior to joining the Trust, Liu held several leadership positions at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, including most recently as Executive Director in the Office of Philanthropic Partnerships.
Leading a team of 24 professionals and managing a portfolio of principal gift prospects, Liu inspired significant giving from a variety of supporters.
Collaboration and strategic giving have been hallmarks of Liu’s career. Working with senior leaders and faculty, she has developed comprehensive strategies to build critical support for important causes.
Jenny Liu was appointed in January 2024. The search was led by Lindauer Vice President and Managing Director Faith Montgomery and Consultant Alexandra Barber.
