The Opportunity

The University of Dayton is seeking a persuasive communicator to develop and manage an extensive portfolio of major gifts of $250,000+, cultivating mature and emerging prospects. This expert liaison will strategically match the interests of prospects with the needs of the University. The Senior Director of Development will represent the interests of the eastern territory, developing relationships and strategies for the region. This position reports to the Associate Vice President of Advancement and will coordinate with Advancement/Development colleagues on upcoming capital campaigns. The Senior Director will need to be located in NYC, New Jersey, Washington DC, or Maryland and should have significant major gifts experience, with a preference for experience in higher education.
