Maureen Huminik

One of the most experienced search leaders in the U.S. nonprofit arena, Maureen Huminik brings a range of charitable organization experience and a vast network of exceptional talent across every segment of the nonprofit sector.

Prior to joining Lindauer in 2005, Maureen held successively senior positions in Boston healthcare and social service organizations, including Newton-Wellesley Hospital, AIDS Action Committee of Massachusetts, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and Brigham and Women's Hospital. Her understanding of organizations in all stages of growth, challenge, transformation, and success enables her to work effectively with a wide range of clients, and to identify leaders best suited to each organization’s unique ambitions.

Maureen has expertly served such prestigious clients as City of Hope, Foundation Fighting Blindness, Stanford University, Kansas State University, The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, and Columbia University. Well-versed in understanding and working with charitable organizations, including national chapter organizations, Maureen has partnered with the ACLU and the YMCA on high-profile regional searches and worked with numerous community-based nonprofits as well. Accomplished at finding candidates at the highest level, Maureen has also placed numerous leaders including the Vice President for Development for the Archdiocese of Boston; the Executive Director of Development for the Archdiocese of New York, and the Vice Chancellor for Development and Alumni Affairs at the University of Tennessee. Maureen is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
