The Opportunity

The MUSC Foundation seeks an inaugural Executive Director of Development (EDOD), Children’s Health, a mission-critical leader who will design and execute a best-in-class fundraising strategy to match the transformative ambitions of one of the Southeast’s most vital children’s health systems.

This newly created role is an opportunity to build a robust philanthropic enterprise that aligns deeply with MUSC Children’s Health’s research, clinical, and educational goals.

Reporting to the Vice President for Institutional Advancement, the EDOD, Children’s Health will shape and lead major, principal, and planned giving initiatives, with a focus on building meaningful relationships that translate into transformational support. With direct oversight of a high-performing team and close partnership with senior leaders, clinicians, researchers, and board members, this individual will drive engagement, expand donor reach, and generate support for priorities that improve the lives of children across South Carolina and beyond.

This is a chance to serve as a key architect of a high-impact, mission-driven advancement strategy that will help elevate MUSC Children’s Health as a national leader in pediatric healthcare and innovation.
