Boston Children’s Chorus (BCC) is among the nation’s most respected youth arts organizations, using the transformative power of music to connect diverse communities, cultivate empathy, and inspire civic engagement. Founded in 2002 by renowned community leader Hubie Jones, BCC serves approximately 2,000 young people annually through neighborhood choir sites, school partnerships, performances, and community programs across Greater Boston. The organization’s commitment to accessibility ensures that financial barriers never prevent participation, creating opportunities for young people from more than 100 zip codes and a wide range of cultural, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds to learn, grow, and perform together.

As it approaches its 25th anniversary, the organization remains deeply committed to fostering belonging, amplifying youth voices, and advancing dialogue across communities through music. With a strong reputation, a dedicated Board, and a compelling vision for the future, BCC continues to demonstrate how arts education can serve as a catalyst for connection, leadership development, and social change.
