The Opportunity
The Chief Advancement Officer will join at a moment of transformational opportunity as Seattle Rep enters a new chapter of growth and artistic ambition.
Reporting to the Managing Director and working in close partnership with the Artistic Director, this leader will be a strategic architect for the organization’s next phase of philanthropy, designing a multi-year campaign strategy, strengthening an already high-performing development program, and building philanthropic pathways that match the scale and creativity of Seattle Rep’s vision.
The role sits at the decision-making table alongside senior organizational leaders, providing counsel on how to fuel productions, community programs, and arts engagement initiatives across one of the country’s most dynamic theater ecosystems.
The Chief Advancement Officer will lead, support, and inspire a talented team of 11 development professionals responsible for raising $7.5 million annually, while also advancing comprehensive contributed revenue efforts spanning major, principal, and planned giving; annual fund; corporate and foundation partnerships; events; and future campaign investments. With Act II of the Campaign for Seattle Rep on the horizon, this leader will play a defining role in shaping the vision, strategy, and execution of an historic philanthropic effort.
This position requires an accomplished closer, a relationship-builder, and a collaborative strategist who thrives in a creative environment and embraces the diverse cultures and communities that define Seattle and the Pacific Northwest.
The salary range for this position is $170,000 – $200,000.
