The Opportunity
WashU is seeking its next Associate Vice Chancellor of Alumni and Constituent Engagement to lead and elevate a modern, integrated engagement strategy.
Reporting to the Executive Vice Chancellor for University Advancement and serving as an essential member of the Senior Leadership Team, the AVC will guide a talented team of approximately 30 professionals while shaping the future of alumni and constituent engagement across the University. This leader will strengthen alumni affinity, volunteer leadership, and philanthropic pipeline development through innovative, data-informed programs that foster lifelong relationships with alumni, parents, and friends.
The opportunity arrives during the ambitious With You: The WashU Campaign, a university-wide effort designed to create a more promising future through healthier lives, greater educational access, flourishing communities, and future-ready leadership development. In close partnership with Advancement colleagues, deans, faculty, and volunteers, the AVC will help translate these institutional aspirations into meaningful constituent experiences that strengthen loyalty and inspire philanthropic investment.
The role offers the chance to shape engagement strategy at one of higher education’s most respected institutions while contributing directly to long-term campaign success and institutional impact.
