America’s highest levels of leadership have not been untouched by the Great Resignation. When organizations are navigating macroeconomic challenges on a near-monthly basis, placing the right talent is more important than ever before.
It was against this backdrop that Forbes partnered with market research company Statista to determine its annual ranking of America’s Best Executive Recruiting Firms — the top 150 firms specialized in filling positions with salaries of at least $100,000.
Lindauer is excited to announce that it has been recognized as #28 on Forbes America’s Best Executive Recruiting Firms 2022 list. This prestigious award is presented by Forbes and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider. The list compiles input from more than 31,000 recruiters and 6,900 job candidates and human resources managers.
Lindauer is honored by our clients’ and colleagues’ participation in naming us as their trusted search and talent partner.
As a firm, we are driven by our clients’ missions. We believe that by placing top talent in positions to create change, our work has a positive impact on the world and helps to better humanity. With in-depth knowledge of the nonprofit world and what it takes to succeed in this challenging environment, our approach is designed to leverage the breadth and depth of our Search Team’s experience in a robust working partnership with clients.
“With every search, we bring our whole expertise: our experience with nonprofits and our ability to shape compelling and authentic stories in market, help internal client leaders align, navigate community politics, support virtual and hybrid hiring, and embody our commitment to diversity and inclusion from end to end. We are honored to do this work,” says Lindauer CEO Deb Taft.
Rooted in Lindauer’s search process is deep expertise in diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. Long known as a fierce advocate for DEIB, Lindauer remains a trusted partner, convenor, leader, and driver of equity, inclusion, and anti-racism across the nonprofit sector.
“You can’t just ‘go out and get diverse talent’ — and Black, Brown, AAPI, and Indigenous leaders don’t want to be hired simply because of their race or ethnicity,” explains Taft. “We are helping leaders look at their own organizations and understand the real work needed to create belonging, taking action on the large and small factors that ensure a new hire will be successful and able to create impact.”
Lindauer has been a recruitment partner and trusted advisor to organizations of all sizes and maturities across the arts, education, healthcare, science, advocacy, policy, and charity sector. Because of our reach, our search team can identify candidates who not only bring the highest level of skill and talent but also will thrive given our clients’ unique cultures, challenges, and opportunities. Building on this expertise, Lindauer continues to focus on innovation and growth, always seeking ways to improve practices and better serve its clients, longtime and new.
Congratulations to our industry colleagues who have also joined this prestigious list and our gratitude to those who participated in the polling.
