Marketing Associate

THE ROLE

The Marketing Associate will join a team of seasoned professionals and will drive search marketing, determining how best to market our clients’ open roles and find the leaders they need to advance their missions.

This role is responsible for creating and managing the production of marketing collateral, timeline management, and providing project-specific marketing support. This individual will report to the Project Manager, Marketing and Administration, and work closely with the Marketing and Administrative teams. The position requires a strategic thinker who has experience in defining, developing, and executing online content and campaign activities.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Write and execute content copy for search marketing, including collateral such as emails, social, ads, and web copy for search or team-building promotion.
  • Attend internal search kick-off meetings to gain insights on search marketing needs and offer guidance.
  • Attend company staff meetings, trainings, and Marketing team meetings.
  • Use data to identify new content opportunities and assess the efficacy of existing marketing strategies.
  • Maintain Lindauer brand integrity in all copy and marketing materials.
  • Participate in company project teams as needed.
  • Other marketing duties as assigned, including collaborating with the Marketing team and other team members to drive branded content campaigns.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Four or more years of digital marketing experience including social media, email campaigns, and website management.
  • At least four years of experience writing, either copywriting, branded content, or editorial.
  • At least two years of experience managing programs/projects.
  • Experience working successfully in a remote environment.
  • Knowledge of inclusive language and demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
  • Great attention to grammar and details.
  • Able to expertly juggle and meet multiple deadlines and know how to prioritize competing tasks.
  • Excellent writing skills — you have a sense of narrative and can create succinct, impactful messaging.
  • Highly collaborative, with proven ability to work across multiple teams and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • You take ownership, are an inventive problem solver, and have a high level of accountability and follow-through.
  • Can think creatively, identify key areas of improvement, suggest ideas, and facilitate the execution of said ideas.
  • Welcome feedback and take requested changes in stride but are also able to finesse pushback to preserve the brand integrity when necessary.
  • Highly empathetic.
  • Interest and experience in recruitment, professional services, and/or the nonprofit industry is a plus but not required.
  • Bachelor’s degree, other relevant professional certifications, and experience with graphic design tools are another plus.
