Founded in 1886, Yeshiva University (YU) is an independent university that ranks among the nation’s leading academic teaching and research institutions. It is committed to Torah, rigorous secular curricula, intellectual exploration and service to community to prepare each student for a personally and professionally successful and meaningful life.
This unique mission both defines YU and separates it from every other institution. Nowhere but at YU can students be prepared to strengthen society through the continuous advancement of knowledge and values for the betterment of the Jewish people and humanity. YU is a Forbes and U.S. News & World Report Top 100 Best Value School.
With new leadership at the helm, building on the past and envisioning new directions for its future, this is a momentous time to lead the Institutional Advancement (IA) team at Yeshiva University. The Vice President of Institutional Advancement (VPIA) will be a member of the President’s senior team and conceptualize, plan and execute a strategic and tactical program to aggressively seek and identify new funding sources for the University both from its traditional lines of support from alumni and the Jewish community and beyond. Collaborating with the President, Board of Trustees, academic and administrative leadership, faculty, staff, students, alumni and current supporters, the VPIA will build upon the significant success of the University’s existing advancement agenda to ensure an innovative, comprehensive and sustainable program that will increase philanthropic support.
