provides fundraising services for the University and its affiliated
organizations. WVU has recently achieved a historic
milestone, surpassing its $1 billion State of Minds Campaign goal more than a year ahead of schedule.

The Opportunity

A
Regional Development Officer is being sought to work closely with development staff in Morgantown and its
regional campuses to manage and solicit outright and planned gifts of $25,000
and higher in assigned geographic regions across the country. Candidates must
have a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years of direct and
progressively responsible experience in major gift fundraising. Preference will
be given to candidates with experience in higher education; with experience at
a comprehensive research university; or with experience or knowledge of planned
giving/financial planning concepts.
