World Pediatric Project (WPP) is committed to healing children and advancing pediatric healthcare in the world. Each year, more than 450 million children under the age of five go without access to basic, life-saving surgical care. WPP strives to provide timely and necessary access to pediatric surgical procedures to children in low- and middle-income countries, driven by a vision to connect children in every community, in every country, to advanced pediatric healthcare. WPP is treating children in the present while helping to build a stronger system for children in the future.
World Pediatric Project seeks a Vice President of Philanthropy (VPP) who will be the catalyst that changes the fundraising trajectory of the organization and will build the major gifts program to new heights. The VPP will lead the national effort to build, expand, and grow significant giving by identifying and pursuing new opportunities with high-net-worth individuals, family foundations, and corporations interested in pediatric global health, while stewarding and advancing existing relationships. The successful VPP candidate will work closely with leadership to determine how best to align organizational priorities with donor interests and investments, creating an impact that will accelerate organizational growth and, therefore, save the lives of thousands of children.
WPP seeks an experienced development professional with a global outlook who has a proven track record of success in securing major gifts, developing strong relationships, engaging volunteers, and being part of a dynamic organization that is focused on improving the lives of children.
