The Opportunity

The North Dakota State University Foundation seeks a Vice President of Development to lead its major and leadership gifts unit and support the Foundation’s mission of building relationships with alumni, donors, and friends to support NDSU. The VP will report to the Foundation President/CEO, provide strategic leadership, and oversee three direct reports: two Managing Directors and a Director of Development Operations. The ideal candidate should be a skilled strategist with knowledge of compliance issues and organizational best practices and demonstrate an understanding of land grant institutions and the region’s culture. The VP should inspire and lead a passionate team committed to NDSU’s success.
