The Opportunity

PGCC seeks a Vice President for External Affairs, Communications, and Advancement who shares its ambitions and feels strongly about the role that community colleges play in advancing social and economic mobility for students from all backgrounds. The next VP will be a strategic, transformative, and inclusive leader with the ability to lead a comprehensive external affairs program that includes oversight of Government Relations and Community Engagement, Communications and Marketing, and Institutional Advancement, managing a team of 35 to create and build the structure needed to grow philanthropy and PGCC’s brand internally and externally.

The ideal candidate will have considerable experience working at an urban community college in external affairs in a role that includes advancement, communications, government affairs, and marketing.
