The Opportunity

As part of the recently expanded development team, the Associate Vice President for Development (AVP) will manage day-to-day activities for a team of 15+, an individual portfolio of 50-75 major and principal gift prospects, and all principal, major and planned giving activities for individual donors. The AVP will possess a distinguished track record in major and principal gift fundraising and staff management, preferably in higher education, with 7-10 years of progressively responsible development experience preferred. Thinking strategically, generating new ideas, planning and setting goals and objectives, and achieving revenue results are critical, as is demonstrated success in actively managing a strong development team and budget.
