The Opportunity

The role of Principal Gifts Officer offers a unique and exciting opportunity to work with one of the most prominent institutions of higher education. The Principal Gifts Officer will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high-net-worth donors capable of making substantial eight and nine-figure gifts. This role is an integral part of a dynamic and well-resourced development team committed to Yale’s ambitious campaign, For Humanity. The portfolio’s focus will be on prospects in the Bay Area of Northern California and possibly other regions, such as New York City.

The ideal candidate for this role is an innovative thinker and strategic gift officer with a track record of building strong relationships with high-net-worth donors.
