The Opportunity

Perkins
School for the Blind is seeking a highly organized senior leader to advance its
development goals during an ambitious period of transformation that includes expansion
of the Perkins International mission in support of UN sustainable development
goals; investment in new technologies to improve digital accessibility and
navigation; and the design of social change campaigns to raise awareness of
people who are visually impaired. The Chief
Development Officer
(CDO) will
lead Perkins Trust fundraising activities with individuals, foundations, nonprofits,
corporations, NGOs, and government agencies to support its initiatives, both in
the US and in developing countries, and serve as a key member of the executive
leadership team. The CDO will leverage the unique and historical assets of
Perkins to elevate its visibility on a global scale.
