The Opportunity

The Vice President of Philanthropy will lead a new era of transformational fundraising success for the institution and its strategic initiatives. Reporting to and partnering with the President of the Center and in conjunction with his vision, the Vice President will be responsible for ensuring a cohesive, integrated and highly collaborative development function and program relevant to Interlochen’s increasingly diverse constituencies and programs. As the Center approaches its 100th anniversary in 2028, the Vice President and his/her staff will meet ambitious goals in annual giving revenue and endowment growth that will enable substantial investments in the student experience and the organization itself. The Vice President of Philanthropy will take Interlochen’s philanthropy operation to even greater levels of productivity, innovation and effectiveness, making this leadership role a unique and rare opportunity at one of the most prestigious arts organizations in the world.
