South Kent School seeks the 10th Head of South Kent School, who will inherit 100 years of successfully supporting the development of boys into young men. The Head of South Kent School embodies the Mission of the School and articulates the Mission for all aspects of the School’s program. This individual reports to the Board of Trustees and is responsible for the overall management of South Kent School, in accordance with the Board’s policies. This leader is the spokesperson for the School with all its internal and external constituencies including students, parents, faculty, coaches, staff, human resources, alumni, neighbors, business community, governmental agencies, and local, state, regional, and national educational organizations and accrediting agencies.
The Head of South Kent School has ultimate and overall responsibility for Board relations; curriculum and instruction; residential and student life; athletic and co-curricular programs; financial and business affairs; School operations, facilities and physical plant; student admission and institutional advancement.
