The Opportunity

The Associate Director of Leadership Gifts, HLS Annual Fund is responsible for overseeing reunion and non-reunion solicitations of annual unrestricted leadership gifts. S/He will develop and implement strategies to sustain the current success, as well as future growth, of the $9+ million annual giving program. This newly created position will manage the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of leadership level, as well as other high-level (unrestricted gift) prospects, by making 100-120 visits per year. Working with the Director of Individual Giving as well as Major Gifts staff, the Assistant Director will maintain consistent, high-level unrestricted support among alumni in non-reunion years, as well as those in reunion years. Working with class leaders, the chosen candidate will develop and implement class fundraising plans, as well as individual prospect strategies. A Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 7 years of experience in university fundraising and administration or related transferable experience is required.
