The Opportunity
The University of Southern California’s (USC) Alumni Association is seeking an Executive Director (ED) to lead the USC Black Alumni Association (BAA). Reporting to the Assistant Vice President for Alumni Relations, the Executive Director oversees day-to-day operations of the BAA, including fundraising to support current-use scholarships and grow the BAA’s $6 million endowment; management of the BAA Advisory Council (BAC); and supervision of selected full-time staff members who help manage all aspects of the BAA scholarship, mentorship, and alumni engagement programs.
A successful candidate will be a charismatic networker and attuned listener with the ability to work collaboratively to manage competing priorities among stakeholder groups. A strong background in fundraising and experience directing organizations and programs for the Black community is preferred. This unique opportunity will provide a well-rounded experience for any professional looking to advance their career in nonprofit leadership while contributing to a culture of philanthropy and being the representative voice for all USC alumni.
