The Children’s Advocacy Center of Suffolk County (CAC) unites public, private, and community partners to promote safety, healing, and justice for children and their families who are exposed to violence. Over more than 20 years, the CAC and its multidisciplinary team have served thousands of children and families. The CAC works closely with an array of agencies to coordinate high-quality investigations and assessments of abuse and exploitation concerns; provide support and services to children and families; provide specialized training for professionals, youth, and caregivers; and prevent child abuse in the community.

The Opportunity

The Children’s Advocacy Center of Suffolk County seeks an Executive Director to advocate for child victims, educate the community, and inform policymakers with an eye toward compassionate care. The successful ED will lead with authenticity and mission-focus while developing policy, fundraising, setting fiscal standards, and being the public face of Suffolk County’s CAC. Serving as the brand steward and decision-maker, the ED will embrace, elevate, and protect the reputation of the CAC of Suffolk County by designing and leveraging strategies for far-reaching impact. The best professional will demonstrate an ability to be persuasive and resourceful in a complex environment as they spearhead the strategic vision.
