The Opportunity
Duke Health and the DCI seek an experienced development professional to serve as the Director, DCI Development Programs. The Director will contribute to the overall success of the DCI Development team by ensuring that the DCI’s philanthropic events, community partnerships, stewardship efforts, advisory groups, and core messages are developed and executed strategically, cohesively, and successfully. The Director will report to the Senior Executive Director, Duke Cancer Institute Development and will support the Senior ED’s key external priorities through exceptional collaboration and communication with internal colleagues and partners. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of related experience in overseeing a variety of development programs within a fast-paced, high-performing team and the ability to successfully navigate the complexities of a large hospital system or academic medical center.
