Director of Stewardship and Donor Relations

Howard University Washington, DC

Nestled in the heart of the nation’s capital, Howard University is one of the most renowned destinations for higher education in the country. Nationally ranked as a leading HBCU (historically Black college or university), Howard is committed to advancing its mission to provide an “educational experience of exceptional quality” and buoyed by its motto: excellence in truth and service.

Affectionately referred to as “The Mecca” by alumni and friends, Howard continues to set records and blaze trails on the global stage. Since the onset of the pandemic, the University has closed the largest philanthropic gifts of its nearly 155-year history. Alumni giving has increased almost two-fold, and the University has seen a double-digit increase in applications for the past three years. Boasting a legacy of iconic alumni like U.S. Vice President Kamala D. Harris and the late Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall, the proud tradition of Howard University is poised for unprecedented acceleration.
