The Opportunity

Mercyhurst seeks a Director of Philanthropy to manage and mentor an emerging team of advancement staff in their fundraising work. As a member of the Vice President’s senior leadership team, the Director of Philanthropy will not only carry their own portfolio of current prospective donors, but they will also oversee the team of frontline fundraisers, supporting them as they create and manage donor development strategies.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced frontline fundraiser who is eager to build and mentor a team as both a player and a coach.
