The Opportunity

Following the much-anticipated launch of its inaugural season, PAC NYC seeks a Director of Development who will serve as the chief fundraiser and infuse fundraising strategies with the passion, creativity, and innovation that are hallmarks of PAC NYC performances.

On the stage, PAC NYC reaches across styles, genres, and cultures to illuminate the universal features of the human condition. The Director extends this ethos across the city, converting widespread enthusiasm for the arts into opportunities for giving, engagement, and community.

The Director will be both a strategist and a tactician. To successfully perform these two core dimensions of the role, they will create and implement an ambitious and results-oriented strategic fundraising plan that builds PAC NYC’s donor base at all levels while ensuring sustainable philanthropic growth aligned with institutional priorities.

Leading and inspiring a dynamic, high-performing team of nine talented professional staff and in close partnership with leadership and the Board, the Director will harness the latest donor and patron trends to create and fortify systems, procedures, and practices that augment, expand, and deepen audience development. In the process, they will lay a data-driven foundation for developing new modes of philanthropic outreach that have yet to be imagined.

The salary range for this position is $265,000 – $305,000.
