The Pontifical Mission Societies originated from a mission group founded in the early 1800s by Pauline Marie Jaricot in Lyon, France. Today, TPMS provides support for a global network of people who are making a difference for the poor and forgotten. TPMS supports the proclamation of the Gospel, the building of churches, and the work and witness of mission priests, religious Sisters and Brothers, and lay pastoral leaders.
TPMS is seeking a Director of Annual Appeals to work with its fundraising and communications teams, as well as outside vendors and consultants, to execute strategies that will drive fundraising and donor engagement.
Through creativity, innovation, and data-driven decision-making, the Director will bring TPMS’s impact to life in ways that inspire donors to engage more deeply in the activities of TPMS. A resourceful storyteller who can work independently and collaboratively, the Director will also have a sincere and genuine interest in advancing the Pope’s and the Church’s mission.
As an integral member of the Advancement team, the Director of Annual Appeals will play a significant role in revitalizing and advancing philanthropy for the Pontifical Mission Societies in the United States and its network of mission offices in 194 archdioceses.
