The Opportunity

Major Gifts are of critical importance to the philanthropic growth of Clark University. The Major Gifts Officer will play a leadership role in the strategy, planning and stewardship of assigned prospects. The selected candidate will effectively identify and manage a robust portfolio of 150 qualified prospects and maintain a minimum of 10 – 15 meaningful donor contacts with a goal of increasing donor engagement with the University. S/he will participate directly in the cultivation, solicitation and closure of major gifts and will work closely with the University Advancement team and other major gift officers, as well as faculty, volunteers and alumni. A Bachelor’s degree and a proven track record of success in cultivating and soliciting gifts of $25,000 or more is required.
