The Opportunity

The Director of Planned
Giving and Principal Gifts Officer
will develop relationships with
individuals, family foundations and other organizations that will lead to
principal and planned gifts, defined as commitments of $500,000 or greater.
Additionally, this essential position will be responsible for working with key
volunteers, trustees and university leaders to execute cultivation, stewardship
and solicitation strategies and will craft proposals for planned gift
solicitations. A Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s
or Law degree is preferred. The position requires 5+ years working in a planned
giving experience, preferably in higher education, as well as experience
working with high wealth individuals and families.
