The Opportunity

The Associate Vice President, Affinity Groups, Third Party and National Events (AVP-ANE) will build, lead, grow, and steward a national fundraising program consisting of affinity and legacy groups, third party efforts, corporate employee giving, and national and signature events. This includes directing and motivating staff and colleagues while providing strategic fundraising insight and guidance. Reporting to the Vice President, Corporate and National Philanthropy Programs, the AVP-ANE will focus on accountability, best practices, and collaboration and work with key COH areas to ensure data integrity and integration. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience (7+ years) in fundraising, development or a related nonprofit environment. A demonstrated understanding of social media and public events is required, along with a proven history of managing national, volunteer-led programs. A background in a complex medical or academic development setting is preferred.
