The Opportunity

Reporting to the CNMC Foundation’s Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, the Associate Vice President for Principal Gifts (AVP) will provide strategic leadership, direction and management for the Principal Gifts program. A member of Foundation senior staff and working closely with CNMC senior management, the AVP will create and staff a Board-level Principal Gifts Committee to secure funding for the institution’s highest priorities and guide the development of philanthropic proposals across CNMC. S/He will be responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding principal gift donors, and also provide direction for high profile cultivation and stewardship events. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 5-7 years working with principal and/or leadership level gifts, preferably within an academic medical, medical, or academic setting.
