A transformational change has come to the University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) and the University of Maryland School of Medicine (UMSOM). Led by UMMS President and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Bert O’Malley, MD, and UMSOM Dean Dr. Mark T. The Opportunity

The UMMC and UMSOM seeks a Chief Philanthropy Officer (CPO) for UM Medicine Philanthropy. The CPO would be accountable to both the CEO of UMMC and the Dean of the UMSOM and would lead and manage advancement initiatives to focus on creating opportunities for transformative giving. The CPO will maintain collaborative, collegial relationships with key institutional partners and will be responsible for cultivating donor relationships across all levels of giving, creating campaigns and programs to fund both capital expenditures and programmatic operating support to fulfill the mission of all supported organizations.
