The Opportunity

The Assistant Vice President for Public Safety and Chief of Police role at Florida State University presents a unique opportunity to lead comprehensive safety and security efforts at one of the nation’s top public institutions.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President for Finance and Administration, the Chief of Police will oversee a team of dedicated law enforcement officers and administrative staff, ensuring a safe and secure environment for FSU’s diverse community of faculty, students, and staff. With a focus on building close partnerships with the Tallahassee community and collaborating with local law enforcement agencies, the Chief of Police will play a pivotal role in enhancing campus safety.
