The Executive Leadership Council (ELC) is a national organization comprising current and former Black CEOs and senior executives at Fortune 1000 and Global 500 companies. For more than three decades, The ELC has worked to build an inclusive business leadership pipeline. Founded in 1986, the ELC continues to advance the mission of increasing the number of successful Black executives worldwide. The ELC designs and delivers professional development, leadership opportunities, and philanthropic engagements to Black executives throughout their careers to open channels of opportunity that positively impact businesses and communities.

The Opportunity

The Executive Leadership Council seeks an inaugural Chief Development and Impact Officer (CDIO) who will report to the CEO and lead fundraising, development communications, and community relations for the ELC. They will serve as part of the executive leadership team and work towards building partnerships and funding sources to support membership. The ideal candidate will possess a growth mindset, high EQ, entrepreneurial spirit, and be ready to make a meaningful impact. Joining a motivated team, the CDIO will strategically engage all key stakeholders to grow philanthropic commitment and support Black executives through revenue-generating initiatives. This is an opportunity to transform and expand the ELC’s impact.
