The Brookings Economic Studies (ES) program, one of five Brookings research program areas, focuses on addressing obstacles to long-term economic growth and opportunity. Its experts analyze current and emerging economic issues facing the United States and the world. Based on that research, Brookings provides innovative, practical policy recommendations. This work has never been more important.

The Opportunity

The Senior Director of Development will provide vision and guidance for the fundraising effort supporting ES. As a member of the senior leadership team, s/he will strategically guide the long-term, sustainable growth of the program, driving the engagement of new revenue sources while building upon current donor relationships, including those with the Economic Studies Council members.

The Senior Director will be a seasoned, sophisticated, and intellectually curious professional with demonstrated experience engaging diverse constituencies and closing major and principal gifts. The ability to collaborate across the Institution and operate in a complex environment will be key to maximizing ES’s fundraising potential.
