Now in its hundredth year, Bentley University is known as one of the country’s leading business schools, combining business studies with liberal arts education. Located on a classic New England campus just nine miles outside Boston, Bentley aims to cultivate a generation of business leaders prepared for rapid change and innovation, globalization, and shifting demographics. The university has recently launched a ten-year capital campaign that will focus on improving residential, academic and athletic facilities across the campus.

The Opportunity

Bentley University is seeking an experienced fundraiser to help lead the creation of strategies and targets for the school’s giving program. The Director of Leadership Gifts will develop and grow the Leadership Gifts Program by managing a substantial portfolio of prospects and donors, creating systems to support the new capital campaign and establishing a culture that sustains giving after the campaign is completed. This key member of Bentley’s leadership team will manage a team of fundraisers and will report to the Executive Director of Development. The ideal candidate will have at least ten years of experience, with a substantial background in management.
