With 26 intercollegiate varsity sports and more than 650 student-athletes representing Arizona State University, Sun Devil Athletics today is a force that brings even greater attention to the country’s most innovative university, while also engaging the regional community through thousands of volunteer service hours.

The Opportunity

The Sun Devils Club seeks an Associate Athletic Director to serve as a strategic leader and fundraiser to support 650 current student-athletes in 26 sports at Arizona State University. The ideal candidate will be a senior fundraising professional with demonstrated experience in designing and implementing innovative programs to build out a portfolio of donors to increase philanthropic support.

As a key leader and manager, the Associate Athletic Director will serve as a partner and collaborate with University development colleagues, as well as University and department leadership, with the goal of securing long-term financial support for the ASU Foundation, Sun Devil Athletics, and Arizona State University. The Associate AD, in partnership with the Senior Associate Athletics Director, Executive Director of the Sun Devil Club, will spearhead the strategic vision to empower, guide, and lead the internal development team, while consistently raising at least $35 million a year to empower Sun Devil Athletics to make the difference they seek in Sun Devils, on campus, in their communities, and in the world.
