Created in 1997, the BCH Trust is the philanthropic resource for Boston Children’s Hospital which works with individuals, families, foundations, and corporations to advance the hospital’s patient care, research, medical training and community health initiatives.

The Opportunity

Boston Children’s Hospital Trust seeks an Assistant Vice President of Gift Planning (AVP) to lead a growing gift planning program. With a high-functioning staff of four driving the administrative, cultivation, and stewardship functions, and a marketing partner that drives gift planning marketing, this AVP will be free to focus on building relationships and developing a pipeline for planned gifts. As dictated by BCH’s five-year strategic plan, the gift planning program has been charged to double its impact by 2026 – the AVP, Gift Planning, will set the vision and the pace for accomplishing this goal.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned fundraiser with an understanding of how to build dynamic teams and implement strategies designed to bring a development program to the next level.
