The Opportunity

NYU Silver seeks an Assistant Dean of Development to serve as a senior-level lead school fundraiser. With a new Dean at the helm focused on elevating awareness of the School’s exceptional academic programs and leveraging impactful partnerships with key policy makers to position Silver as the preeminent school to address critical, real-time issues such as the child mental health crisis, this is a truly exciting time to join NYU’s Silver School of Social Work. Reporting to both the Executive Director of Schools and Institutes in NYU’s University Development and Alumni Relations (UDAR) office and the Dean, the Assistant Dean will help define a vision and fundraising strategy aligned with the School’s strategic plan and University priorities.

The successful candidate will be mission-aligned with a deep appreciation of the social work profession and knowledgeable about cross-functional subject areas to further ignite the interests and passions of its prospects and donors.

The salary range for this position is $200k to $220k.
