The American Friends of The Hebrew University of Jerusalem (AFHU) is a U.S.-based nonprofit that provides financial support for the university’s academic, research and service programs. With headquarters in New York, AFHU operates regional offices in the Midwest, Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, West and Pacific Northwest.
AFHU has embarked on a 2-year campaign goal of $120 million through fiscal year 2019; the Southeast region is responsible for $14.6M.
The Opportunity
In this Midwest Regional Office position, the Senior Development Executive will report to the Executive Director for the region and will be responsible for all aspects of fundraising for the 11 midwestern states. This ambitious, results-driven professional will offer innovative strategies to grow planned giving, conceptualize new outreach programs and develop a plan for engaging alumni. AFHU is seeking a fundraising professional with 7 years of experience, particularly with development programs in Jewish communities or in higher education.
