With a wealth of nonprofit and advancement experience, Gretchen Dwyer knows firsthand the value of being recruited by Lindauer. The firm first placed Gretchen as Director of Development at Tower School, a private elementary school on Boston’s North Shore, and then as Director of Leadership Giving at Amherst College, where she was promoted twice to the position of Executive Director of Development and Campaign Director.

Gretchen began her career as a Development Assistant for The New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center’s capital campaign. She then worked as the lead grant writer for a literacy organization before moving on to Boston University, Tower School and, subsequently, Bennington College in Vermont. Knowing how impactful a partnership between an institution and the right fundraiser can be, Gretchen is dedicated to presenting the best candidates for each nonprofit’s unique environment and culture.
