The Opportunity
BGSU is seeking a visionary and bold advancement leader to serve as Vice President for University Advancement and President and CEO of the BGSU Foundation, Inc. This dual-role executive will lead the Division of University Advancement and steward the Foundation’s philanthropic strategies to support and accelerate BGSU’s mission.
Reporting directly to the University President and working closely with the Board of Directors of the Foundation, the VP/CEO will architect and launch BGSU’s next major fundraising campaign. They will build on the success of recent record-breaking commitments to drive transformational growth. This leader will advance a comprehensive development strategy rooted in storytelling, data, inclusive philanthropy, and constituent engagement.
The VP/CEO will engage alumni and supporters across all platforms, foster meaningful relationships with donors and stakeholders, and collaborate across the University to ensure alignment of fundraising priorities. They will mentor and lead a high-performing team, cultivating a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
